Step 1- Using the Soft Fan Brush, coat the entire top of the plate in 3 coats of Sand Castle.
Step 2- Using the #8 Round Brush paint 2 coats of Polar Bear on the outer ½” of the plate rim, over the Sand Castle.
Step 3- Using a Fun Writer filled with BeBoppin’ Blue, draw squiggly lines to denote squares as shown in photo.
Step 4- Using the #8 Round Brush, apply 3 coats of Li’l Boy Blue to the top side of the Dolphin Bisquies. Using a detail brush, lightly apply Black Lab to the Dolphin’s eye and mouth.
Step 5- Paint top side only of X’s in 3 coats of Anchors Away.
Step 6- Paint top side only of O’s in 3 coats of BeBoppin’ Blue.
Step 7- Brush clear glaze onto top side of Dolphin, X and O bisquies.
Step 8 - Dip plate into clear glaze and fire all pieces to a cone 06.
- X’s and O’s are dry-footed and stilted on bed of nails.
- Optional: You can apply extra coats of color to the X’s and O’s and forego the clear glaze.
- Dolphin bisquies can either be fired onto plate or glued on after firing, refer to photo for placement.
