Instructions:

Step 1- In a paper cup or pourable container, thin down Polar Bear until it is the consistency of heavy cream. Add some Sammy Salmon to the Polar Bear, and swirl slightly with a brush to combine. Do not thoroughly mix, there should be some visible separation between the two colors.

Step 2- Holding the mug sideways over a paper plate, pour the Polar Bear/Sammy Salmon mixture over the bottom half of the mug as you rotate the mug to allow the mixture to run, covering the lower half of the mug and handle. Once covered, continue to hold the mug sideways with the handle facing down until the glaze stops dripping. Allow to dry to the touch.

Step 3- Using a damp sponge, wipe around the top inch of the mug so that you have a bare 1 inch area around the top of the mug and handle.

Step 4- Apply 3-4 coats of Sammy Salmon to the inside of the mug.

Step 5- Apply 3 coats of Black Lab to the top inch of the outside of the mug, handle, and around the rim. Allow to completely dry.

Step 6- Using a Fun Writer filled with Sammy Salmon, draw and fill in 5 starfish around the bottom portion of the mug. Then apply dots vertically, going from large to small over the Black portion of the mug as shown in the photo above.

Step 7- Using a Fun Writer filled with Peach Fuzz, apply dots vertically, going from small to large between the Sammy Salmon dots as shown in the photo above.

Step 8- Allow to dry, dip into clear glaze and fire to cone 06.
